Estate Agents
Yorkshire Energy Solutions Ltd provides tailored Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) services and property solutions to estate agents throughout the UK. With a nationwide team of fully accredited, in-house Domestic Energy Assessors (DEAs), we can connect you with a local expert who understands the specific needs of your area.
For landlords and property managers, it is a legal requirement to have a valid EPC in place whenever a property is marketed to new tenants. Each certificate remains valid for 10 years and can be reused, provided no energy efficiency improvements have been made since its issue.
Since 2018, properties with an energy rating below E cannot legally be sold or rented. This makes now the perfect time to invest in energy-saving improvements that can raise your EPC rating. Not only do such upgrades increase property value, but they also make your property more attractive to both current and prospective tenants.
Online Enquiries..!
We offer customized packages and discounts for landlords and property management companies, with pricing scaled to the number of bookings—perfect for larger property portfolios.
Simply complete our enquiry form, and a local DEA will reach out to discuss your requirements in detail.
Would you like me to make it more formal, more persuasive/marketing-focused, or shorter and punchier?
How It Works?

Once we receive your EPC request, we’ll allocate a fully qualified and insured Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) in your area. All our assessors are professional, friendly, and highly experienced.
Within 24 hours, the DEA will get in touch to arrange a convenient time to carry out the assessment at your property.
The visit typically takes around 20 minutes, during which the assessor will carefully examine the property’s structure and energy-related features.
They will then collect all the required measurements and evidence needed to produce a precise and official EPC.
To complete the assessment, the DEA will carry out the following steps:
- Safely access all rooms, including the loft (if present).
- Record the loft measurements along with the overall property dimensions.
- Capture photographs of key energy-related features, such as boilers, water heaters, radiator valves, lighting, double glazing, shower types, gas and electric meters, and external walls.
- Create floor plans, marking the number of levels as well as the placement of windows and doors.
- After all information is collected, it is uploaded to the RDSAP system and submitted to Landmark. Your EPC will then be sent to you by post or email, according to your preference.
Why Choose Us?
Over time, we’ve discovered that more than 70% of the properties assessed by our DEAs for EPCs do not meet the required energy rating.
During the inspection, our skilled DEAs can determine whether a property qualifies for improvement measures under the ECO2t scheme. If it does, they’ll guide both the landlord and tenant on the recommended upgrades and, with their approval, arrange for the installation.
In these cases, the EPC is provided free of charge.
This end-to-end service — combining property assessments with practical energy-saving solutions while keeping disruption to a minimum — is why many of our clients continue to use us and refer our services to others.
If you’d like your portfolio assessed for EPCs and potential energy efficiency improvements, contact us and one of our DEAs will be happy to help.
