If you or someone in your household receives an income-related benefit, has a boiler with radiators, and doesn’t live in social housing, you may qualify for free heating controls. This scheme is available for privately owned or rented homes across Great Britain, including park homes.
As part of this offer, you’ll receive:
A free digital timer, so your heating only runs when needed.
A free room thermostat, which automatically switches off the system once your ideal temperature is reached.
Free thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs), giving you better control of the temperature in individual rooms.
If you already have heating controls in place, we can upgrade them at no extra cost. In some cases, we may also be able to replace your boiler free of charge.
Please note: All grants are subject to a survey, available funding, and specific terms and conditions. In certain situations, the grant may not cover the full cost, and a contribution may be required. This will be explained clearly after your free survey.

If your home requires loft or cavity wall insulation, we may be able to offer this free of charge or at a reduced cost—subject to a survey, available funding, and applicable terms. In some cases, boiler repair or replacement grants may only cover part of the cost, and you may need to contribute towards the remaining amount.
